Exhibition “Forced Labor” at the Jewish Museum Berlin

Until 30 January 2011: The Jewish Museum Berlin is showing the comprehensive exhibition "Forced Labor. The Germans, the Forced Laborers and the War".

"Forced Labor. The Germans, the Forced Laborers and the War" is an exhibition by the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation, initiated and sponsored by the Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility and Future". Along with numerous pictures and documents from different archives the exhibition also shows interview excerpts with contemporary witnesses from the Online Archive "Forced Labor 1939-1945".

Extensive accompanying program

The exhibition can still be seen until January 30th, 2011 at the Jewish Museum Berlin. It also features an extensive accompanying program. A talk with a contemporary witness and former forced laborer Helena Bohle-Szacki is scheduled to take place on January 10th, 2011 at 6 pm. Following the talk, the project team “Forced Labor 1939-1945” of the Freie Universitaet Berlin will present new multimedia educational material that is based on interviews with Helena Bohle-Szacki and other contemporary witnesses.
